How do you remove search engines from the Firefox search bar?

It's easy enough to add new search engines to the search bar in Firefox, but I can't find any way to remove the ones I don't want. Anyone know how?

1. hi, you just need to install the extension listed below. You can then right click and delete the ones you dont want.
2. You don't need an extension to do this. Rather, just navigate to the right folder on your computer! Check out my link at [1].
